Analysis Resources
Once you have data, there are several resources available for analyzing your data. We highly recommend exploration of the Affymetrix web site. It is an excellent resource for accessing chip probe information along with protocols, technical notes, manuals, development tools, analysis and publications.
CGRB Core Labs maintains a computer with some analysis tools. There are free, publically available software tools which can help with generating gene lists and their correlation to sequence information or GenBank. There are tools to look at Gene Ontology and potential pathways to which your genes of interest may belong.
Several Data repositories exist to publish your data before publication.
When preparing results for publication, be aware of MIAME which describes the Minimum Information About a Microarray Experiment that is needed to enable the interpretation of the results of the experiment unambiguously and potentially toreproduce the experiment.
You can also compare normalization methods or join the Gene-Array Discussion Group or access their Archives.
