Axon 4200A Pro Usage Policy
The Axon 4200A Pro for scanning custom microarray slides can be used independently by researchers only after training with Caprice Rosato or call 541-737-3413.
If you are interested in running the scanner, make an appointment with Caprice when you anticipate having slides prepared and ready to scan. The appointment should be arranged at least 48 hours in advance to insure both the scanner and Caprice are available.
At the first appointment Caprice will describe the items on the checklist and perform the first scan. Training to teach the scanner system is in the document entitled Instructions for Axon 4200A Pro.
When competency is demonstrated for each item in the checklist, the researcher can use the scanner independently.
