Shared Facilities

The Core Labs maintain facilities that are available to other labs. These include a variety of scanners and computers loaded with data analysis software.
Most of these facilities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A few of them, such as the NanoDrop and Real-time PCR are popular enough that we have set up an online calendar with which one can schedule a dedicated time slot for use.
Facilities in ALS 3012 are available off-hours by keypad entry. Each principal investigator is responsible for the access codes assigned to his/her lab. Each person in a lab that requires off-hours entry will be assigned a unique access code. We expect that no person will share his/her access code - not even with members of that person's lab. All access codes may be reassigned in the event of unauthorized entry into ALS 3012.
