Turnaround time
- Typical turnaround time is 1-2 business days from the time you drop off your samples.
- It is often the case that smaller jobs (<49 samples) will get same day results if dropped off early.
- When workload is high your jobs may be interleaved with those of other researchers.
- This is especially true if you drop off > 4 x 96 well plates at a time.
- We have 2 ABI3100s, which each have 2 plate slots = 4 plates for overnight runs.
- Each 96 well plate takes 5-6 hours, depending on standard used.
- 384 well plates typically take 18 hours.
- Data is posted to the server within 24 hours after running the samples.
- Contact Caprice Rosato if this does not happen.
- Genotyping may be shut down for a few days now and then to accommodate staff vacations.
