Mark Dasenko (mark@cgrb.oregonstate.edu), handles DNA sequencing using the robotic ABI 3730 machines. Mark is able to help troubleshoot sequencing problems and to assist in design of large sequencing projects.
Anne-Marie Girard (anne-marie@cgrb.oregonstate.edu), runs the Affymetrix GeneChip® Microarray service. She also oversees the Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope
Alex Krupkin (alex@cgrb.oregonstate.edu), runs the Genotyping and Fragment Analysis service. New users should consult with Alex prior to designing experiments to ensure compatibility with the new equipment.
Caprice Rosato (caprice@cgrb.oregonstate.edu), is in charge of the Custom Microarray service. Laboratories interested in full or partial custom microarray services should consult with Caprice prior to experimental design.
Steve Drake (steve@cgrb.oregonstate.edu), designs and maintains the computer networks in the CGRB. He writes software to provide online services.
Scott Givan (scott@cgrb.oregonstate.edu), Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology, serves as Bioinformatics Coordinator for the CGRB. Dr. Givan is in charge of the in-house Bioinformatics website and is available for consultation with investigators regarding bioinformatics projects.
Chris Sullivan (chris@cgrb.oregonstate.edu), designs and implements the High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure, including the Genome Beowulf cluster environment. He writes computational software to help investigators solve biocomputing problems.
