Core Labs Accounts

No single account gives you access to all CGRB services. You will need request a different account for each of the following services:

  • If you want to utilize the High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure (such as the Genome cluster) to perform numerical experiments then you should contact Chris Sullivan .
  • You will need a Core Labs ordering account to request services such as DNA sequencing, genotyping, gene chip microarray production, and custom array printing and labeling. Initially, the principal investigator will need to establish a principal investigator account. Once the principal investigator has an account, lab users can request a user account.
  • To use the Zeiss Confocal Microscope you will need an OSU Active Directory account. If you do not have one then you can request an account in the FS_MAIL domain. See the confocal registration page for more information. Additionally, if you need network file space for temporary data storage you can request an account even if you already have an OSU domain account. Once you have filled-in a CGRB Server account request form, return it to the CGRB Core Labs in ALS 3012.
  • Genespring microarray analysis software requires a local account password on a computer in the Core Labs. Contact Anne-Marie Girard to request an account to use this software.
